today

Today was really slow and relaxing.  I slept in until around 10:30 and didnt get dressed until around 2.  Fabio made me some really great authentic pasta for lunch and I started to update my portfolio in the afternoon.  I got out the beard trimmer to tame my face pelt and was only able to trim a big chunk out under my chin before it died.  I started to charge it---but then zapped the motor because the plug adapters I have aren't actually converting 220 to 110--just allowing an american plug to fit into the austrian outlets.  Sooooo, I had a big patch of beard missing right in the middle of my face and no trimmer to finish the job.  But, I did have a small pair of scissors...So I reenacted my favorite scene in movie history from the Royale tenenbaums, and cut my beard short with scissors and then clean shaved.  This is the first time in over a year-maybe 2 that I have used a razor to shave my face and it took about 45 minutes from start to finish--reminding me why I started wearing a beard in the first place.
